In what was either this century’s most important hearing or an almost too obvious attempt to distract the American people from the government’s failures with something shiny and interesting, but which was also entertaining regardless, the House Oversight Committee held a hearing on UFOs.
Among the more interesting of the witnesses was UFO “whistleblower” David Grusch, who told South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace that “biologics” had been recovered from crashes. That response in the affirmative came when Rep. Mace asked if the government had recovered bodies from “crashed crafts.”
Specifically, when Rep. Mace asked if “we have the bodies of the pilots who piloted” the alleged crashed crafts, Grusch said, “As I’ve stated publicly already in my NewsNation interview, Biologics came with some of these recoveries. Yeah.”
Rep. Mace then asked Grusch if those recovered bodies were “human or non-human,” a question to which Grusch responded by saying, in a matter-of-fact manner, “Non-human. And that was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the program I talked to that are currently still on the program.”

Rep. Mace also, during the hearing, asked Mr. Garusch if he thinks that “our government has made contact with intelligent extraterrestrials.” Responding, he told the South Carolina representative that that is something he cannot discuss in “a public setting.”
Grusch also told the committee that the government of the United States has covered up its research into the unidentified sightings which have been reported for decades. Further, he claimed to have reported information to the intelligence community inspector general.
Grusch was one of three veterans who testified to the committee about aliens. Another was Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot who now runs Americans for Safe Aerospace. He said, “If UAP are foreign drones, it is an urgent national security problem. If it is something else, it is an issue for science. In either case, unidentified objects are a concern for flight safety.”
Rep. Tim Burchett, the Tennessee Republican who was the major force behind the committee’s holding Wednesday’s hearing, noted that the issue was important because of the opaque nature of what the government reveals, or claims to reveal, about it.
He said, “This is an issue of government transparency. We’re not bringing little green men or flying saucers into the hearing … We’re just going to get to the facts. We’re going to uncover the cover-up, and I hope this is just the beginning of many more hearings.”
Also interviewed was retired US Navy Commander David Fravor, who said, “The technology that we faced was far superior than anything that we had.” That doesn’t necessarily mean, however, that whatever was seen was necessarily alien in origin. It could be a foreign nation’s technology, could be secretive US military technology, could have been something more mundane but viewed in a way that made it hard to determine what was going on, or could just be made up to distract Americans from real, pressing issues, such as the massive waves of migrants flowing across the southern border.
