Tucker took the time to appear for an interview event with many of the 2024 GOP candidates and, predictably, the populist and brilliant former TV host steamrolled almost all of them, particularly the RINOs and Swamp Creatures. Ron DeSantis performed poorly, Mike Pence probably torpedoed his whole campaign, and Haley got flustered and tripped up when he asked her about the Russo-Ukrainian War.
Tucker, showing her neocon side to an audience that might have previously considered her ok because of her time in the Trump Administration, pressed her on the Ukraine issue, asking, “Who blew up the Nord Stream pipeline?”
Haley didn’t want to give an answer or hazard a guess. Feigning levity, she replied with a question, saying, “I mean, I don’t know, do you?” Tucker laughed, then argued that a plethora of evidence points toward it having been the Biden Administration that ordered the attack on the pipeline and that America was deeply involved in executing it.
Tucker also bluntly asked Haley about climate change, asking, “You dealt with this question all the time at the UN, the question of, ‘how does the world respond to climate change?’ But there are really two questions. One, is the climate changing…but the deeper question is why? We had glaciers 10,000 years ago, the climate has always changed dramatically since the formation of the Earth. Do you think humans are causing this change, and do you think we can stop or slow it down? Is there actual evidence?”
Haley again refused to take a stance and instead rambled about electric vehicles. She said: “I mean….I don’t…Honestly, I don’t know how much is being changed or not, as much as I know that putting electric vehicles on the road is not the answer to what you’re doing.”

Another issue Tucker stumped her on was election security and voter fraud. Asking about the 2020 election, Tucker asked, “They are saying that Joe Biden got 81 million votes, and my question is: Do you accept that, and second, how do you think he did that?”
Again Haley didn’t give a response and did her best to lean away from even engaging with the controversial part of the question, instead focusing on “changing” American attitudes. “All I care about is changing that. We can’t afford a President Kamala Harris. I will say that over and over,” she said.
She did defend voter ID laws, however, saying, “What I said in South Carolina is that if you’ve got to show a picture ID to buy Sudafed, if you’ve got to show a picture ID to board a plane, you have to show picture ID to protect the election process.”

One of her better answers was when she discussed “gutting” the intelligence agencies, telling Tucker, “When I was governor, I went and replaced the heads of every agency. The American people don’t trust our intelligence agencies, so you can’t just replace the person at the top. You’ve got to go through and really look at gutting those agencies.”
