The career of social media influencer Andrew Tate has been mired in controversy from the very beginning. Now, after being reinstated to Twitter following Elon Musk’s acquisition of the company last year, the boastful Tate is offering his tutelage to Musk for his potential upcoming fight with Mark Zuckerberg, which has been teased and hinted at on social media.
Fittingly, Tate offered his help in a Tweet on Musk’s platform, saying, “Meta banned me everywhere for telling the truth about vaccines. But now we can restore honour with a strike at the enemy clans leader. I will train you @elonmusk. You will not lose.” Tate clearly has a grudge against Zuckerberg after being banned from Instagram and Facebook.
So far, Musk has made no indication that he is aware of the offer that Tate made. It is clear, however, that Musk and Zuckerberg have a growing personal vendetta against one another after Zuckerberg announced that Meta would be begging to build a platform similar to Twitter to compete with the social media application.
Musk did not take kindly to this incursion on his territory and said, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options.”
While little is known about the martial arts prowess that Elon Musk may or may not possess, the internet went into a frenzy when Mark Zuckerberg won his first Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament earlier this year. Zuckerberg’s coach had this to say about the tech giant’s performance on the mat, “Yesterday getting to see Zuck compete was pretty epic. No match was easy and everything was earned. It was an honor to be able to help coach and offer any advice I could.”
As for himself, Zuckerberg was pleased to have come away with a win and trophy for his efforts, saying, “Competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team.”
While the two tech giants may be set to fight someday, there is no clear plan for the two to meet in the octagon any time soon. As for Tate, he is currently in a fight of his own against the Romanian legal system. Tate has been charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women by a Romanian court and has been sentenced to 30 days more of house arrest.
The prolific social media lightning rod has amassed seven million Twitter followers on his account, which often posts videos of him fighting and keeping in shape during his downtime. Recently, he spoke about his house arrest and the charges against himself, saying, “All I do is predict the future, because I understand exactly how The Matrix operates. This is why they want to hurt me. Because of what I know.”
