Sean Feucht, a contributor to Turning Point USA Faith, recently discussed the impulse and thought behind his “Kingdon to the Capitol” tour, which will bring “God’s Kingdom” to all 50 states, taking worship to a collection of “the worst cities in America.”
He did so on Fox & Friends with FNC host Pete Hegseth, who started the conversation by saying, “The ‘Kingdom to the Capitol Tour’ is on. Turning Point USA Faith is partnering with Let Us Worship for their revival tour, going to every state capital to bring faith and prayer to Americans all summer. Joining us now is the founder of Hold the Line and Let Us Worship, Sean Feucht. Sean, so great to see you. Love this concept. And we’re gonna get to where you’re going so people can show up at their state capitol and be a part of your, what is the mission of the Kingdom to the Capital tour?”
Responding, Feucht told Hegseth that the idea of the tour is to bring Christ Jesus and worship of Him to some of the worst, most broken cities in America so that people in them can be imbued with the faith and filled with hope despite the terrible circumstances in those urban locales. In his words: “Yeah, the, our mission really is to bring really God’s kingdom to probably some of the worst cities in America. If you look at the capitol cities, I mean, you see deep blue cities with a lot of crime, with a lot of overregulation, and a lot of people don’t have hope for them. But yet they’re so central to, to us as Americans, and they run our lives, basically. And everything comes back in our states to the state capitol. So we got to see the impact from the Kingdom on the Capitol. And that’s why we’re doing this tour.”
Hegseth then got Feucht to give a bit of background on his organization and why he started it, saying, “And Let Us Worship you started. I believe that during COVID, when churches were shut down, and you said, ‘No, that’s not happening here. We’re going to be worshipping.’ And that has led into going capital by capital.”
Feucht, responding, said that it was the Covid pandemic and the repressive government response to it that led him to start the organization, as it started in California to worship God despite the regulations there and then spread as people decided to worship despite what the government said. In his words: “Yeah, I mean, Let Us Worship was born in the pandemic, you know, with 300 wild worshippers on the Golden Gate Bridge, where we just declared we’re not going to shut down we’re going to worship despite these regulations and tyrannical governors and, God, birth a movement. And when across America, we had a film that came out called Super Spreader that was top five in theaters in America, the weekend it came out. And really, it’s inspired, I believe, a whole like a, like a holy boldness, and Americans to rise up.”
Continuing, he added that they now want to spread that to even more spots in America and get thousands of people in each state to show up and share their faith. In his words: “And so now we’re bringing that same energy and that same breakthrough calling to each capitol in America, we’ve done about 15 so far. And, man, we’re just seeing thousands of Americans show up at every single event. It’s just been historic.”
Hegseth, commenting on the success of that so far and the powerful nature of people expressing their faith while worshiping God despite government regulations and crackdowns, said, “I’ve seen some of the images, some of the video they’re staggering. A revival is what we need. We need God in this country. And to go to the heart of it. Some of these towns is to go right into the belly of the beast.”
