Recently, Ted Cruz made an appearance on talk show, “The View”, to discuss the economy and the values of the Republican Party. “The View” has been known for their left-of-center takes over the past few years, advocating for liberal ideas while critiquing conservatives and their values. So, it was interesting to see them bring on Ted Cruz to hear his thoughts.
The best part of the interview was when tension culminated over discussing January 6th, only for Sen. Cruz to unapologetically call out the left’s hypocrisy. Watch the clip below.
In the context of January 6th, Whoopi Goldberg emphatically stated, “[Democrats] don’t go and don’t storm. We don’t try to change…we don’t do that.”
To which Cruz calls out the obvious by replying, “Did I miss an entire year of Antifa riots where cities across this country were burning.”
It’s so ridiculous how the Dems will play up the idea that Republicans are trying to actively destroy the country while, apparently, employing cognitive dissonance and forgetting what the radical left did to so many cities across the country in 2020.
The “summer of love” as some will ironically and euphemistically label the months following the death of George Floyd, led to black lives matter and antifa acting in concert to start riots and looting to a scale which we haven’t seen.
In the clip above, you see just a few examples of the vast chaos. For perspective, the official insurance bill was $2 billion, the highest in insurance history. However, the actual cost is likely much higher because many businesses are under-insured or not insured at all and their millions in losses will not show up in that insurance figure.
But Whoopi Goldberg, “Doesn’t know what an antifa riot is.” There could be a couple of reasons for this.
Maybe she does and just doesn’t want to see the chaos for what it is because it supports her cause, or the establishment media has truly manipulated everyone by euphemistic reporting of the riots.
The infamous “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” CNN caption exemplifies the latter.
From the get-go, the interview was off to a fiery start where protestors in the audience heckled Cruz, interrupting the interview. To Whoopi Goldberg’s credit she did shut down the hecklers in the audience and have them escorted out.
Despite the heated exchange between Goldberg and the Cruz, the senator actually gives a great interview speaking for the Republican Party and their current values.
The hosts try to push the “women’s reproductive rights”, the new phrase which tries to dress up the horrific act of killing an unborn child, as the main issue driving voters for the midterm elections. One host tries to downplay the economic conditions we are experiencing as cyclical and to be expected, making it a non-issue for voters.
On the contrary, the economy is by far the top issue for hurting Americans and Ted Cruz points this out. “People are hurting. Lives of working men and women have gotten really hard…..The highest inflation in 40 years is making people’s lives a lot harder,” Cruz said.
Vote for strong Republicans like Ted Cruz.
