British TV personality Piers Morgan absolutely shredded a woke critic of the royals who argued that the coronation was “too white” and that there should have been more diversity in the ceremony…for the royal family of the Anglo-Saxon nation.
Watch that here:
As you can hear in the video, Morgan, himself no conservative and instead issuing a slightly woke defense of the ceremony as “woke enough,” started off by saying, “I have a list here because you came out with all this claptrap last week. I can’t even read these two cards, which are all the examples of diversity of the people in Westminster Abbey. It goes on and on, and rightly on. That was the most multicultural service this country has ever put on. The idea wasn’t it was too white. It’s completely ridiculous.”
Responding, his even woker guest then said, “we’re talking about the intimate royal family, which you’ll remember was rocked by now on racism. So bear with me, Paul, bear with me. No, they’re not all family members. I’m gonna tell you, Tommy is not a relation. Nicholas Barkley up there.”
Morgan then called her on her nonsense, asking, “You got married right? In your wedding snaps how many non white people are.”
That put her on the defensive and she responded by saying, “It was a state occasion. It was not a wedding.”
Morgan then hammered his point about that home, saying, “That’s a record. No, you haven’t answered my questions, detracting from the issue. It’s simply I simply asked how many non white people will be in your wedding benches.”
She admitted that they were all white despite her claims the royals should have had more diversity, saying, They were all remaining because I got married to Romanian. I want to sit there all.” Lost on her, apparently, was that England is an Anglo-Saxon nation, so the aristocracy and royalty are Anglo-Saxon, not “diverse,” much as her husband’s family was Romanian.
Morgan then made that point, saying, “If you didn’t, you didn’t go around and try and find some people who were immediate family, or put them in your picture to look more diverse? Isn’t a royal family who would have had to look very far peers. And that’s the point. Why were they far?”
But that wasn’t the only person who attacked the coronation for not being “diverse” enough. “Bridgerton” star Adjoa Andoh did as well, sickeningly attacking the ceremony for having too many white people. Fox News reported on that star’s comments, which many on Twitter characterized as anti-white, saying:
“Bridgerton” star Adjoa Andoh landed in hot water after calling the Buckingham Palace balcony at King Charles III’s coronation ceremony on Saturday “terribly White.”
“We have gone from the rich diversity of the Abbey to a terribly White balcony,” she said to British journalists Tom Bradby and Julie Etchingham during TV’s live coverage of the historic ceremony that crowned King Charles III the United Kingdom’s 62nd monarch.
“I am very struck by that,” she continued of the balcony. “I am also looking at those younger generations and thinking: ‘What are the nuances that they will inhabit when they grow?”
[…]One critic wrote, “I am appalled at the comment made by Adjoa Andoh. It is race baiting and racist towards white people. Racism in any form is not acceptable. I hope @itv and @Ofcom will investigate this.”
Another chimed in on the issue, writing, “I will not be watching Bridgerton again due to #AdjoaAndoh remarks,” and a third said, “This isn’t a Disney movie #AdjoaAndoh It’s a family. Can’t add people in for #representation. Can’t put everything in the race bracket and get away with it.”
