What do you do if you want your kids to have something to watch and be entertained by, while not also having their brains rotted by leftism of the sort that Disney pushes, particularly in regard to gender and sexual orientation?
Well, as Disney goes from a beloved entertainment company to wokeism promoter constantly doing battle with Ron DeSantis in Florida, one alternative entertainment provider is trying to tell interesting, entertaining stories that also teach faith-filled lessons to young kids.
That company is called The Logos Theatre. It produces plays, live-action films, and animated films, and has a conservatory under its umbrella. Speaking to Fox News’ “Lighthouse Faith” podcast, artistic director Nicole Stratton said, “We’re realizing God has raised us up at such a time as this.”
Continuing, she went on to say that she sees parents as facing a dilemma: they want their kids to have some form of entertainment to enjoy, but want that entertainment to affirm the values they’re teaching their kids, not push them towards wokeness or leftist views on sex and gender.
So, she said, “If you take some of that away for our children, we all have young children. What do we give them in its place?”
The Logos, she said, adding that Logos is the “principle of divine reason and creative order, identified in the Gospel of John with the second person of the Trinity incarnate in Jesus Christ.”
And so, The Logos Theater aims to make faith come alive with its storytelling, both on the silver screen and on the stage.

Master Puppeteer Justin Swain said, “I mean, we serve the Creator. So I think it’s only fitting that everything that you see that we produce would have creativity.”
And for faith-based entertainment for people who are a bit older and might not be as interested in puppets or the Chronicles of Narnia, a faith-based horror movie called “Nefarious,” produced by a different company, is now out. Reporting on it in The American Tribune, we said:
What’s the big problem with movies that aim to share a message of faith or come from a right-leaning perspective? With the exception of some standouts like Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ,” they’re just not very good. The message is there and we want to support them, but they’re just not all that well-made or interesting to watch.
That’s what actor Sean Patrick Flanery wants to change in the new, faith-based horror movie that he’s starring in: “Nefarious,” a movie about a serial killer who might be possessed by a demon. Flanery, speaking to Breitbart about the movie, said that it’s meant to both force introspection and be well done. In his words: “It is such a well-executed story that doesn’t ask you for introspection, it forces introspection.”
Continuing, he went on to say that the problem with most faith-based movies is that they’re not very good, saying, “A large percentage of faith-based films and right-of-center films, in my opinion and I don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings, but they’re just not good. I believe and support the content, but just because you have good morals doesn’t mean you can play the guitar like Eddie Van Halen.”
He then said that Nefarious will be different than those, saying, “When I read the script, I said this script is worthy of everything the best Hollywood has to offer. I think it stands on its own, across party lines and across religious lines. There’s a place for really every demographic to enjoy this film.”
