Riley Gaines Fires Back After Brittney Griner Calls It a ‘Crime’ To Keep Men Out of Women’s Sports

Former University of Kentucky swimming star Riley Gaines fired back over the weekend after Brittney Griner claimed that it was a “crime” to stop transgender athletes from competing against biological females in women’s sports.

Griner knows a few things about crime after she was arrested and detained in Russia for a year after trying to take hashish oil into the country. She was subsequently swapped for Viktor Bout, otherwise known as the “Merchant of Death,” while other Americans who had been detained much longer were left behind.

During an interview with ESPN, the far-left sports outlet asked Griner where she stood on the issue of transgender athletes being able to play. She had this to say to ESPN, via the Daily Wire: “I mean, that ranks high on the list of things that I’ll be fighting for and speaking up against, you know, everyone has, everyone deserves the right to play, everyone deserves the right to come here, sit in these seats and feel safe and not feel like there’s a threat or they can’t be who they are or, um, like it’s just all eyes on them.”

It’s unclear who Griner is specifically referring to when she talks about feeling safe and not threatened. The only threats have come from across the aisle from science-denying leftists, and the only athletes that are unsafe are the biological females being forced to share spaces with trans women with male genitalia. This, however, makes too much sense for liberals to accept.

Since there's apparently no difference between men and women, should we just send Brittney Griner to the NBA?https://t.co/0N366ByDG0

The former Russian jailbird Griner went on to say: “So, I think it’s a crime, honestly, to, to separate someone for any reason,” Griner claimed. “So, I definitely will be speaking up against those, that legislation, and those laws that are trying to be passed for sure.”

It is a sad, scary state of affairs when fringe athletes like Brittney Griner are getting a platform with this much attention. The WNBA player should be sitting quietly, rejoicing in the chance to have a second chance to play in the country she hates, but instead is acting as a mouthpiece for Joe Biden and the far-left.

Former NCAA swimming star Riley Gaines took to Twitter to fire back at Griner. She said: “Which NBA team would have @brittneygriner since apparently the overwhelming, obvious differences between men and women should simply be overlooked?” Gaines tweeted. “Heartbreaking to see athletically successful women take this demeaning stance.”

“And if we’re going to talk about crimes, Brittney…” Gaines added.

Great idea! If Brittney Griner wants to prove her talking point, perhaps she should make the move and play with the big boys. Actually, considering she is 6’9 and can’t dunk a basketball, maybe she should try college ball first.

If the college game is too much, perhaps AAU? The point is, she likely would score none of them, even at the lowest level of college basketball. Why? Because there is a physical difference between men and women. Perhaps then, more people would see the fallacy of their position and wake up before women’s sports are ruined and stolen for good.
