Jack Daniels became the latest company to lean into and celebrate the alphabet community with a no-holds-barred advertising campaign featuring a “small town, big pride” drag queen summer camp. The campaign touts a partnership with RuPaul.
Jack Daniels, located in rural Tennessee and marketed heavily to people not often associated with the rainbow brigade, has now also become one of the latest companies facing heavy backlash and calls for a swift boycott.
BREAKING: @JackDaniels_US has gone full woke and put degenerate drag queens in their barrel house.
Jack is sponsoring something called “Drag Queen Summer Camp”
This is a *good* business move since Jack Daniels is only ordered by the mentally ill already.

“BREAKING: @JackDaniels_US has gone full woke and put degenerate drag queens in their barrel house,” conservative commenter Benny Johnson posted to Twitter, along with a graphic designed by Jack Daniels.
“Jack is sponsoring something called “Drag Queen Summer Camp”,” he continued. “This is a *good* business move since Jack Daniels is only ordered by the mentally ill already. Customer outreach”
Reminiscent of the just-released partnership between Bid Light and Dylan Mulvaney, Jack Daniels’ association with RuPaul and other drag queens and transgenders.
Newsweek noted that the campaign itself is actually over two years old, but that this latest “row” resurfaced in the face of a growing movement to mainstream transgenderism – as seen by Bud Light’s campaign or the previous Hershey’s fiasco.
“Social media users have taken offense to the whiskey brewer’s “small town, big pride” campaign in which it teamed up with drag queens from Ru Paul’s Drag Race—despite the campaign being nearly two years old,” Newsweek wrote.
“The row over LGBTQ+ brand ambassadors is symbolic of a wider debate about drag shows and their exposure to children,” the media outlet added. “Critics have expressed concerns over Drag Queen Story Hour, readings for children by drag performers at libraries. Tennessee, Jack Daniel’s home state, was the first to pass a drag show ban in the presence of children over concerns about their sexualized content. The law has since been temporarily blocked by a federal judge.”
On their company website, Jack Daniels boasts at the top of the page of the “Jack Fire Pride” campaign is well under way.
“Jack Fire and Pride go together like cinnamon and whiskey,” the site proclaims. “Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire is dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ community year-round through representation in media we produce, nurturing a diverse and inclusive business, and partnerships and donations to GLAAD,” the site continues.
As always, diversity and inclusivity only go in one direction, as it seems impossible to imagine a MAGA activist being featured on beer cans or on whiskey bottles.
Just as Jack Daniels appears to be doubling down on their support of all things woke, so too is Bud Light in the face of prompt public outrage.
A representative told Fox News, “Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points. From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
After the Bud Light promotions appeared, rock star patriot Kid Rock put out a now-viral video garnering almost 50 million views in which he blasted – quite literally – the company and product. The American Tribune reported on that epic video, writing:
Patriot rockstar Kid Rock reacted to the recent news that Budweiser had made Dylan Mulvaney one of its spokespersons by propping up a few cases of Bud Lights and lighting them up for target practice in a now-viral video circulating social media.
Rock has made it clear he despises the woke movement, and for this particular video, he simply turns around and says “Grandpa is feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible.”
He then proceeds to open fire on the several cases, sending cardboard, aluminum, and beer flying – or outright disappearing in a barrage of lead.
Take a look at this hilarious response to one of the most outlandish woke campaigns yet.
