52-year-old rock star Kid Rock, whose real name is Rick Ritchie, took to social media to express his displeasure with Bud Light partnering with Dylan Mulvaney, a trans activist most infamous for dressing up as a young girl.
Rock expressed his displeasure in a video posted to Twitter in which he said, “Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible.”
He then picked up a submachine gun-style rifle and unloaded it into crates of Bud Light beer, saying “F*** Bud Light. And f*** Anheuser-Busch. Have a terrific day.” Watch him here:

The video was in response to the news that came out over the weekend that Mulvaney would be a Bud Light partner. Mulvaney announced as much in a video he posted over the weekend in which he revealed the partnership, showing off a personalized beer can and saying, “Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever: a can with my face on it.”
While many initially thought the video was an April Fool’s joke, it, unfortunately, was not. an Anheuser-Busch spokesperson told Fox News, “Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points. From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
Conservatives on Twitter were outraged by the new partnership. Robby Starbuck, for example, tweeted, “Message to conservative families from @budlight seems to be: We will encourage and even celebrate the erasure of men and women along with all the values you care about. They’ve gone totally woke. Will you ever spend your money with them now?”
Townhall.com columnist Derek Hunter said, “@budlight: the groomer of beers.”
John Cardillo wrote, “Who the hell at @budlight thought it was a good idea to make a grown man who dresses like little girls their new spokesperson? Brands have to stop listening to their woke creative teams and get in touch with their consumer demographics.”
And while many conservatives have pledged to boycott Bud Light, their actually doing so seems unlikely. Given that people couldn’t even turn off the NFL despite claiming they’d boycott it because it was woke, it seems unlikely they’ll stop buying Bud Light products, even if it’s the groomer of beers.
Still, if people can bring themselves to just buy another beer, watching Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch go down in flames for making a creep that dresses like young children a brand ambassador of theirs would be hilarious.
