Representatives of Bud Light have confirmed a new brand partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. Many people on social media thought the whole concept could have been an elaborate April Fool’s prank after seeing videos circulate of Mulvaney’s face on Bud Light Tallboy.
However, to the surprise of many beer drinkers, this is completely real. A representative told Fox News, “Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points. From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
Many have spoken out against this move, such as Conservative commentator John Cardillo, who said, “Who the hell at @budlight thought it was a good idea to make a grown man who dresses like little girls their new spokesperson? Brands have to stop listening to their woke creative teams and get in touch with their consumer demographics.” Robby Starbuck tweeted, “Message to conservative families from @budlight seems to be: We will encourage and even celebrate the erasure of men and women along with all the values you care about. They’ve gone totally woke. Will you ever spend your money with them now?” Conservative radio host Erick Erickson wrote, “Is the Bud Light thing an April Fool’s joke? I mean it is trash beer, but given the constituent demo of Bud Light drinkers, it seems like a terrible marketing thing.”
“Bud Light made a mockery of women by partnering with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney — a biological male who makes a living exploiting what it means to be a woman,” OutKick writer David Hookstead said. “We can’t even drink beer in America anymore without woke politics being involved.” “Hey [Bud Light] and [Anheuser Busch]: enjoy ‘authentically connecting’ with your smaller audience. The majority of us won’t tolerate you erasing women with your woke BS,” one Twitter user said.
Kid Rock made a big statement about Bud Light’s new brand partnership involving firearms. The American Tribune wrote:
Patriot rockstar Kid Rock reacted to the recent news that Budweiser had made Dylan Mulvaney one of its spokespersons by propping up a few cases of Bud Lights and lighting them up for target practice in a now-viral video circulating social media.
Rock has made it clear he despises the woke movement, and for this particular video, he simply turns around and says “Grandpa is feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible.”
He then proceeds to open fire on the several cases, sending cardboard, aluminum, and beer flying – or outright disappearing in a barrage of lead.
Take a look at this hilarious response to one of the most outlandish woke campaigns yet.

Many feel this is a prime example of another company ignoring the majority of their customers to pander to a minority. Time will tell if this will be a new case of “go woke, go broke.”
